Great buy for the money. Dust collection leaves a bit to be desired. The bag itself is large enough but the machine doesn’t push the chips into the bag with enough force to expand the bag resulting in a clog in the port.

I’ve only had this for a few days and here are my first impressions.I needed a biscuit joiner for a project and this was the only one the store had in stock. It comes with a nice carrying bag with a zipper, twenty #10 biscuits and a dust bag. It’s very heavy and bulky compared to joiners I’ve used in the past. The adjustable table/fence is a little cumbersome because one knob is used to lock in both the angle and height. The knob on the left adjusts height and the knob on the right locks in the height and angle. It takes a little getting used to. Make sure you practice on scrap pieces of wood that are the same thickness as the project you will be working on. Dust collection is very good but the bag is small and it fills up fast. Overall, it’s a good value for the price. If I had to use it all day, every day I would probably get something lighter but for small projects it gets the job done.

It works. But you get what you pay for.

The only problem that I have is that when you lift the front to put it in the case, you have to reset the depth again. Otherwise it is a great tool. I used a router attachment before and this much better.

I really like this Ryobi biscuit cutter. I made two practice cuts, then proceeded with the joinery for a blanket bow for my wife. The reviews scared me that it would have manufacturing defects or would be difficult to use. Quite the opposite, it was ready to use straight out of the box and performed beyond my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. Ryobi remains my GoTo company for tools!

Bought this as a gift for my son and he says it is greatest thing ever. Works like a champ and gives him the tool to add strength and stability to his woodworking projects. Smooth action and easy to use. He’s been using it regularly for a couple of months without any issues.
