Saw works quite well & has strong competitive features. However, virtually impossible to purchase replacement blades. When I purchased saw from Home Depot, they recommended blades which I purchased, only to learn half way through a job that the blades do not fit. HD does not appear to carry replacements blades for this jigsaw. When search elsewhere on the web, tough to be sure what will fit. Basic problem is that the height of the “T” is greater on generic or branded blades (0.135″) than on Ryobi blades (0.11″). Home Depot should not be selling a saw for which they do not stock replacement blades.

Good saw. I replaced a Makita that was really the same thing but different color. (They were out of stock on everything but the Ryobi). It even fits the Makita plastic case so it is the exact same exterior. Maybe a different motor? Works the same at a cheaper price. Hope it lasts.

After getting used to the variable speed setting, which is a great feature for fine cuts, my son and I were able to finish our project in no time.
