I purchased a corded Ryobi electric lawn mower because it was less expensive and I did not want to have to keep gasoline around the house. The corded version worked great, but I spent more time managing the 50′ extension cord than actually mowing the lawn. So…I bought the Ryobi 18 volt battery version.The mower works great, doing a very good job cutting my grass. Being battery operated, it is very easy to use. Hold a button and squeeze the handle to start it and it cuts like a champ. I use two 4 amp batteries and am able to cut my lawn completely. Checking the charge when finished, I am down to one bar, but the job is done so it does not matter.One thing that I have noticed is that when I am finished using the mower the batteries are quite warm and need to cool down before being recharged. When I have tried to recharge the batteries when they are hot, the red light on the charger blinks and the green charge light does not blink. After the batteries cool down, they charge like normal.I don’t know how large my grass lawn is, but mowing it is easy with the 18 volt mower. It is very easy to maneuver.

More powerful then the Worx 14 inch mower I’m replacing. Height adjustment is easier to use. Easy storage with foldable handle. Love being able to use the same batteries for mower, blower, string trimmer and other Ryobi tools.

Works great! Its nice that you can double up on batteries. My lawn is about 20’x40’. I can mow the entire yard on 1 charge. The only negative for me is the catch bag is too small. Otherwise its great for my small yard.
