It is good for the price. The battery does not last 30 minutes and takes over an hour to charge, one at a time, so if you have a moderately large yard, it would take 2 maybe 3 charging cycles to get the mowing done. I’d go for a corded version the next time round. Overall it performs well and does the mowing as promised. Its easy to set up and start using out of the box.

I love this lawn mower. I am a 65 year old female and was looking for an easy to handle and easy to start lawn mower. This thing is perfect for me. I don’t have a huge yard and it is mostly level -front and back, and this lawn mower is easy to push. Most of the time I have made it on one charge, but couple of times I had to stop and re-charge the batteries, as I was not able to finish the back. About an hour of charging and I was able to finish. I may buy couple of more batteries in the future if I find a good sale. For $199.00 this lawn mower has been awesome for me.

There is a part in the back that looks like a flap to keep grass from shooting out. Well that piece broke off after 1 week. The mower still works fine, but I need 4 3ah batteries to mow my 1/7 of an acre yard.

Overall it’s pretty good with quality material, but unfortunately the battery doesn’t hold very long (something around 20-25 minutes). It was frustrating having to mow my lawn partially, wait for a couple of hours, do it again, several times. I really don’t have a big yard, but it really didn’t fit our needs.

If you have a smaller yard with grass (7500 ft2 or less) this mower is a great solution for clean, quiet and easy maintenance of the same.It is simple to use, takes little storage space in the garage and the batteries charge in a few hours. The charge lasts for two complete mows of my yard. I sold my gas mower after one use of this Ryobi and have not missed the old mower once. Definitely recommend this product.

It’s good for smaller lawns, because of battery timings . In my case with one additional battery, I mean in total I have 3 batteries, but I am unable to complete my lawn which is around 0.20 acre only. Otherwise it is fantastic.

We have a medium sized yard and we mow the elderly man’s front yard who lives next door and the charge has never run out. It is so lightweight and of course so easy to start. I love the fact you don’t need gas, nothing is more demotivating than getting outside to mow the grass and finding an empty gas can. We do have several Ryobi products so we already had batteries and the charger. Easy to store, bagger removes easy, easy to put back on. It makes mowing an easy experience.

I expected more from the Ryobi being battery operated, my first battery lasting me a good 35 minutes and my second battery seems to die after 10 minutes of use I have continued to charge the battery but I continue to get only 10 minutes on my second battery which does not give me the hour needed to cut my small 2 areas of grass. The only suggestion I would have is to get extra stock of batteries and have them charged up if you have a larger area
