The lawn mower operates well when running plugged into an outlet. The battery sucks. It will barely run for 10-15 mins on a fully charged battery.

It’s so easy and lightweight cutting tool to cut my grass. Love the product

Incredible machine. Don’t expect it to be a J.Deere tractor, but it uses enviro friendly power, and its nice not to have to mix and fool around with fuel. I especially like the hybrid feature if I don’t want to cycle my batteries through it. I think Ryobi is the only Hybrid mower on the market. It would be nice if in the AC power mode it was self-driving to put power to the wheels. But I need the exercise anyway. Keep up the great product research and creation. JW, Orlando, FL

I’m 81 need a mower I don’t have to pull a cord on or put gas in. I have a large yard. It take me about 4 days to mow it all. Battery last as long as I want to mow. I thought I got a walk behind, but it wasnt.

Bought the Ryobi Hybrid from Home Depot online. Delivered a day ahead of schedule . . . Review based upon mowing grass at height 3 using mulch mechanism, not grass catcher bag . . .Pros: 1.) Easy to assemble. 2.) The 5 position lever to raise and lower mower works great . . . No more fighting with all four wheels! 3.) Easy to insert batteries right on top. 4.) Easy to change from battery setting to extension cord setting with key provided. 5.) Lightweight and easy to maneuver. Can pick up with one hand and carry. 6.) Comes with 2 (4 Ah) batteries and charger. 7.) Hybrid – can be battery or cord powered.Cons: 1.) Mower cuts VERY low even raised to Medium setting 3 – almost a “golf green” type cut. Start with height 5 first! Probably all you’ll need 2.) On high, thick, or wet grass, mower lacks power causing cut out. 3.) Battery run time with both (4 Ah) batteries fully charged and inserted in mower was about 30 minutes. Needs more battery run time to complete a medium-sized yard. 4.) Batteries tend to get “hot” through a 30 minute run time. 5.) Foam padding on the push handle wears down easily. Plastic grip, or better quality foam should have come on the handle for more comfort. 6.) 16 inch cut is adequate only for a smaller yard since the battery run time is about 30 minutes.I recommend this product for smaller yards only, but for larger yards, you’ll need more run time and more power. If you purchase two more of the (4 Ah) batteries and a six battery multi-charger keeping your batteries fresh, then this 16 inch Hybrid may be more appropriate for a medium-sized yard.

Impressive technology. The hybrid option was the main reason I got this mower. I mowed part of my lawn on one battery. When the battery died I placed it on the charger then I plugged the mower in and kept on going. This is perfect for a smaller yard. The motor is not very powerful so you have to be careful not to throw too much at it. That is to say, if you try to mulch too much grass at once, it may overwhelm the motor. My Briggs & Stratton gas powered mower also gets bogged down in a similar way, so I am not surprised. Overall, I am very pleased with this mower. I purchased it mainly for my son to help me with the lawn, but I have been enjoying it myself.

It’s very practical for our fairly small yards. Excellent to have multiple trim levels.

It’s a great mower I just have 2 suggestions. It should come with the “6H” batteries. And it should be bigger than 16in.

I have a fairly small yard. About 40’ x 20’ with thick grass. Two fully charged batteries get it 80% done. Two more finish it up without losing much charge. If I mowed more than once a week 2 batteries would probably do the whole thing.

It works good only used once. bBattery life is good, did a small front yard without problems. Very light.

This lawn mawn is so pretty and portable, it cut great but the battery only last a shot period. I think is made for small yard. I have a big yard. I have to keep charging or use the electric cord to finish the job.

Mower worked better than expected. My wife used it to bag the leafs from the live oaks in the front yard and afterwards wanted to tell all her friends how easy the mower was to use. I have over 20 18 volt Ryobi tools and it is nice to be able to use the batteries that came with the mower on all the other tools.

I love this mower! So quiet and easy to use. The added bonus of being able to use the batteries for other tools is great!

Great mower, easy to use, lightweight and stores easy! Great value. Love not messing with gas and oil.

Performed very well. Good quality little mower, run time is as expected. Very pleased.

Just what I needed. Love the smaller size since storage is limited. It’s really easy to push and very quiet. Battery life is just fine for our 1/3 acre yard (only half grass). It’s really easy to push and love fact I can also swap the 4 Ah batteries into my 18 volt Ryobi Edger.

The batteries don’t last long enough for me to finish the entire yard. I’m forced to sit down with a drink and relax while they recharge. Life is so rough.

easy to handle and lightweight. No gas to store or handle.
