Its IntelliPort Technology protects battery cells, maximizes battery life, and conserves energy so well that it earned an ENERGY STAR rating. The diagnostic read-out provides charging status and even lets you know if the battery is too hot or cold to charge. Best of all, it is part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 175 Cordless Tools that all work on the same battery platform. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, the 18-Volt ONE+ Dual Chemistry IntelliPort Charger includes an operator’s manual. Batteries sold separately.

I bought this charger to charge the on sale 2 for $79 lithium iron 4ah batteries I bought at the same time.Batteries are now $149/ not on sale.I talked to the Ryobi rep and he advised me that this stuff would work to power my old blue Ryobi drills.The weak point of that blue drill platform was the batteries, and because I ended up with 3 old Blue drills, I bought this setup.That and the batteries are 4ah, more than 2x the power of the batteries that come with any new Ryobi tool and should run all day !So in affect I bought 4 times as much battery.jmo,
