The RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ In-Vehicle Charger is compatible with all RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ Ni-Cd and Lithium-Ion batteries. For your convenience, just plug it into your car’s 12-Volt DC outlet. It only takes 30 minutes to fully charge your 1.5 Ah batteries (not included). Best of all, it is part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 175 Cordless Tools that all work on the same battery platform. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, the 18-Volt ONE+ In-Vehicle Dual Chemistry Car Charger includes an operator’s manual. Batteries sold separately.

Built like a tank but runs hot. Added a cooling fan and the unit runs much cooler. This should add to the product lifespan and the lifespan of the batteries as they stay cooler when charging.

This 12V charger seems to work well. I bought it from the nearest Home Depot because they had several in stock. When I looked at the inventory, ALL the boxes were opened, several were crushed, and at least one looked like it had been submerged.

As much as I like my Ryobi tools, and recommend Ryobi when asked, the car charger was a disappointment. Not that it did not charge, but that it took so long, and the car really had to be running. If you are on the road anyway, and you have batteries that need to be topped off, it will probably be a good addition to your kit. If you need a battery charged that is dead or near dead, this is not the best option. Sorry, Ryobi…
