Bought this to replace my original Ryobi battery that finally doesn’t hold a charge. This was the original Nicad 18 volt battery for the original blue Ryobi tools. The new battery is a Lithium ion one. Note that you need to purchase a new dual use charger as the original only charges the Nicad. I found this out after I got home and tried to change the new one. It indicated that the battery was fully charged. I like that I could just replace my battery instead of buying new tools. Each battery fits into the old blue and new neon green tools. Also the battery powers all the new One± tools which is over a hundred.Very pleased with this purchase and all my Ryobi tools.
