Good battery life as a 18V lithium should. Light weight but not flimsy or weak. Has enough power for gas all sizes but wont cut small trees or shrubs. The best part is no maintenance so you don’t have to mess with a two stroke motor. Its not rock solid or top of the line indestructible. For the basic home owner it should be fine as long as you don’t abuse it.

I purchased the ryobi one trimmer to have a lighter tool than my gas powered trimmer. Due to age and shoulder problems, I needed a lighter trimmer but, this trimmer weighs approximately the same as my “lightweight gas trimmer.” I also have to change batteries before I finish trimming. However, the trimmer does what it is designed to do.

This is the second one that we have gotten in 2 years not because something has gone wrong with the 1st. But because everyone who has seen ours wants to try it or wished they would have gotten ours and no the brand they purchased. The second one was for daughter’s birthday. She loved it, it’s lightweight strong and after purchase of several string packages we can use the empty core to wrap our own lines and save 75% . Recommend highly, my mother is 74 so we got a strap for her to take weight off, she used once and doesn’t need it because it is very light. The battery last 45min or so. Two charges does our 6 acres.

It works good but there’s a problem with the feed of the line. It was to long and the little thing to cut it on there didn’t cut it off and it wouldn’t feed like it was supposed to and yea I followed the instructions. Once I cut the line short enough to not hit the shield it worked good

This purchase was to replace an aging Craftsman C3 tool. It exceeds my expectations. It works grate at edging my yard or cutting down 3 foot tall grass. You can adjust the operating line length to 10 or 12 inches. Reloading line is simple.
