Bought this because, half the battle of weed eating is dragging out all the electrical cords. So lightweight and easy to maneuver in small spaces. Battery charge lasts a good 20 mins or so. I have another Ryobi battery so one is always charging and easy to change out. I love this weed eater and the self feeding line is awesome!!! Goes through string line a little faster than my old heavy weed eater. It’s worth going through more line for the convenience of the self feeding line feature. Would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

The unit has lots of power, my mom has one like this but hers doesn’t have an auto feed.. So every time you hit the gas it cuts a piece of the good line off.. Doesn’t matter if the line is good or bad, it automatically cuts off the line. That means you better get you a bunch of line cause this thing will cut all your good line.. I like this unit, but why does this thing not have a turn off, so doesn’t waste good line.. I tried it just spinning it inside my house, and it repeatedly cuts the line every time I hit the power to spin it.. Great unit with a poor design.

Love this product!! Its super light, gets the job done with just the right amount of power for my front and back yard. Love how easy its is to charge battery and insert battery into the product. Both my grandson and my adult daughter love it. They like that it is easy to manipulate and that it is light to hold. My grandson said it was so light he only had to use one hand. They also both like that it is not tied to a cord or that it needs gasoline and oil, a messy job. They were very happy with this product. I will look for other Ryobi products in the future.

Finally, an edger a woman can use! It’s very light weight so edging my lawn can happen quickly and easily. I bought a heavier model inline that was very awkward to use due to the length of the shift. Home Depot took it back and ordered this light weight one for me. Now that’s great customer service!.
