Just bought it for a xmas presant so it’s not been used. I do how ever have a problem the trying to buy additional battery and charger can’t find them on your sigth. Ryobi sys buy fromyou but if the prices I saw were right it would be cheaper to buy a nother weed eater.

This Ryobi Cordless String Trimmer and Edger is a great product. The batter last long enough to edge and trim both my front and back yards, (standard size). The edger also does a great job between cement cracks (but will use a lot or wire there). It is extremely easy to convert from trimmer to edger. Very light weight and easy to maneuver. I’ve used it more than five times and it still feels brand new. Excellent product.

This is a light duty string trimmer that is useful for small lawns, light edging, and some weed control. I had a small yard before and this could cut down almost anything that would grow as long as I didn’t wait too long in the spring. Can you use it to clear brush from a lot you’ve neglected into early summer? Probably not. Will it keep your lawn edges sharp and your planters clear of weeds? Definitely.One thing I really love about this trimmer and why I still have it in my garage now that I have the heavy duty 40V unit is because of how easy it handles and how light it is. My wife loves it for small weeds and it doesn’t have so much power that it will throw rocks back at you like the stronger ones will.It is pretty good with the batteries and it uses the really small trimmer line (0.060) which is nice and cheap.For a small yard this thing is solid. If you have a big yard or really tough weeds go up to one of the stronger trimmers.
