I was very disappointed in the length of time the battery keeps a charge. I read on line and was told in store to expect close to an hour. However, I timed ours and it shuts off at 20 minutes after fully charged. I purchased it based on recommendation of a good friend and she says hers lasts much longer! I just purchased it in August from Home Depot’s on line site.

I purchased the ryobi one trimmer to have a lighter tool than my gas powered trimmer. Due to age and shoulder problems, I needed a lighter trimmer but, this trimmer weighs approximately the same as my “lightweight gas trimmer.” I also have to change batteries before I finish trimming. However, the trimmer does what it is designed to do.

Great shipping and delivery time. Really pleased with the website and the way everything worked. It was my first online purchase from Home Depot and went great. On to the part. The trimmer is meant for light to medium duty. It does very well at that! If you already have other Ryobi stuff like I do then batteries are not a problem. I use the bigger batteries for longer run time. For the downside, the autofeed spool is annoying. Every time you let off the trigger it lets out a bit of line. This forces you to keep it running as you move from tree to tree or to the next place that needs trimming. After wasting some line and figuring out how fast the line actually wanted to feed based on usage then it was happy trimming.
