This string trimmer puts some serious work on my yard and is a big improvement from my previous single home DIY trimmer. It has great length and well balanced plus the 13 inch cutting radius helps a lot when trimming my yard. I also like the high/low power setting which gives you the option to use low power mode to save the battery life or high power to do make light work out of trimming the grass. The other good thing about this tool is the battery. I used one battery on the Ryobi string trimmer and blower and it worked to cover my 5000 sq ft lawn. Plus i can use the same battery on a multiple of other Ryobi tools.

Purchased the unit end of August found it to be well designed and easy to use. Battery provides sufficient power to trim a small lawn on one charge. Auto feed spool works well and the ability to rotate the trimmer for edging is easy to do with one click. I would highly recommend this product for its ease of use and light weight.

I don’t have a lot of trimming to do but this works very nicely. I didn’t have the too much auto feed problem that some reviews mentioned but I have the opposite problem where it doesn’t seem to auto feed at all sometimes. Its a pretty quick fix maybe 30 seconds to pop off the end unwind a bit of string (it’s usually bound up but I can just pull and it unwinds an inch or two) and snap the cover back on. Otherwise no complaints.
