Great value, no issues at all. Purchase, delivery (free), and performance all exceeded expectations. Have a cordless drill of the same manufacturer, will stick with Ryobi.

This is my 2nd ryobi cordless trimmer . The first one was a 40v and lasted about 6 years and I used it alot ! This time my property is smaller so this one seemed ideal . It is balanced well and has plenty of power . I do not like the auto string feed everytime you squeeze the trigger , uses way too much string . I put a fixed string head on it that I had from the last one .

It is lighter than I expected and is easy to use. Not powerful enough to do the higher grasses but works fine on simple trims

It works good but there’s a problem with the feed of the line. It was to long and the little thing to cut it on there didn’t cut it off and it wouldn’t feed like it was supposed to and yea I followed the instructions. Once I cut the line short enough to not hit the shield it worked good

Battery life only 15 minutes .Nothing below to keep it at least an inch off the ground to compensate for a little height so it won’t bump the ground.

This Ryobi trimmer is made for tall people. Didn’t realize how long it was. Not made for short people. Can’t shorten it in.

It looks light duty its winter so really haven’t been able to use it

My last Ryobi 18v trimmer lasted 10 years! The bearing started to wear and wobble but the motor still runs great. I hope this newer model gives me the same reliable service.

Seems to be a strong weed eater based on the two times I have used it. I like the longer shaft of this model. My previous Ryobi weed eater was still running, but the shaft rusted in to (different model) after several years.

I bought it for my home of 2+ acres, but only used it for less than a half acre. Small areas of lawn where mowers are to large even a push mower. Battery life; I was not happy. I have other Ryobi Tools with 4ah batteries, 2 batteries to do my areas. 2ah just was a joke. I even went ahead and bought a 6ah battery. Just prior to that battery coming in the unit burned up/motor trouble while using the plastic blade accessories, off balance then smoke coming from motor I had it exactly 1 month
