This trimmer has a brushless motor for maximum power and durability. The Expand-it attachment capability allows you to transform your trimmer into an edger, blower, pole saw and many more tools with the available attachments. This trimmer is equipped with the Reel Easy plus Bump Feed Head with Speed Winder which can be reloaded in 60-seconds or less. The variable speed trigger and 2-speed switch deliver increased control for any application. The adjustable 13 in. to 15 in. cutting width allows you to optimize your trimmer for increased run time or a wider cut swath. This lightweight and well-balanced design also has a 4.0 Ah battery for extended run time. The battery and charger that are included are compatible with over 125 tools on the RYOBI ONE+ system. Backed by a 3-year warranty. Also included, the RYOBI Expand-It 10 in. A Pole Saw Attachment features a 10 in. bar and chain that is ideal for pruning and cutting limbs up to 6 in. thick. Reach dead branches or overgrown limbs up to 12 ft. above the ground with the included extension shaft. An automatic lubrication feature helps keep the attachment well-oiled during use. Now that I’ve used the P20110 a couple of times I thought I would share how impressed I am with the tool. I don’t have a large space to trim, maybe 300 linear feet, and I’m not taking down large weeds. I’m just trying to get a nice, tight trim along the lawn’s edge. This thing has more than enough power for that! This first time using I went through a 4Ah battery before finishing as I was getting used to using a straight shaft trimmer. But having several batteries it’s not a big deal. I’ve always had curved trimmers in the past. There is a trick to using straight shafts efficiently as they can be used in several different positions depending on what you need to do…lots of landscaping vids out there to see how its done. The best feature for myself is the length. As a tall guy (6’5″), this is a back saver! No more hunched over at a weird angle to get at it.I had previously used the P2030 that I got on the cheap. And it was cheap. It did the job, barely. Coupled with some cheap string I was constantly having to slow down so it would auto feed, hit a brick, break some string off, slow down to auto feed, cut for a few more a few more feet, break of some more string, slow down to auto feed, over and over. It was a slow process. The unit was small and light which was convenient but having to constantly re-feed the spool was a pain. Enter the P20110…this thing is a beast! Night and day difference! Gobs of power comes at a the price of weight, but well worth it. It digs into the ground if you let it and will throw lots of debris, protective eye wear is a must…and pants. The first time wearing shorts was a mistake.I thought the straight shaft attachments might be kind of gimmicky, but after appreciating the power behind it, I’m inclined to take a second look at some. Very satisfied this this purchase.

I purchased this for my Toro trimmer. I previously purchased the Ryobi hedge trimmer attachment, but I needed something to cut through some thicker holly branches. The pole saw handled branches and stems up to 1″ without a problem. The thicker ones took some time to cut through. It doesn’t cut as fast as a regular chain saw. The extension gave me good reach. It didn’t occur to me until I unboxed it that I could also use the extension section from the pole saw for my hedge trimmer attachment. That was a nice bonus and makes for a good set. My hedge trimmer reaches the tallest of my bushes now so it makes for a much quicker job.

The small saw blade packs a big punch! I cut down a large diameter (21-inches around) tree with it, and it never bogged down. It cut through it like butter. I have absolutely no need for my handheld chainsaw anymore.

Overall very pleased would recommend Yard is a little over 20 minutes of trimming, battery went from four lights down to two….I ran only low power setting, and it seemed to have plenty of power. Trigger switch is a little awkward, feels heavier than stated weight…

Though I am not a fan of Ryobi products, this one has made me happy. But for a few nit-picky items I would have given it 5 stars. Mine did not come with a funnel that screws onto the engine oil bottle, so I had to use a funnel. It always starts on the 2nd pull even when cold. The string trimmer has not given me a bit of trouble. I also have the limb saw, which drips oil but also works way better than expected. I really have to twist the wing nuts hard to keep it from rotating on the shaft in spite of the lock buttons. I have not used the storage cap/hook things which look like a fail waiting to happen. Power is excellent (and the 4-cycle engine is nice) but it is a little heavy. I will be buying the rototiller attachment soon. I recommend this system and wish I had bought it sooner.

The order experience was good and timely, trimmer was a good price for kit and was easy to assemble. The Charger could be faster but adequate. The trimmer suffers from battery life. In heavy trimming run time is less than 10 mins. Maybe ok for the homeowner but not for larger property, you will need several batteries to compare to even a basic gas trimmer. I liked this for taking on our UTV and doing touch up trimming around bushes and posts but the run time is a lot less then what I expected.
