The blower was easy to assemble. It was convenient to be able to pick it up & go without having to plug it in, drag a cord around, or gas up. It was also pretty good for use on concrete or asphalt surfaces as long as the accumulation of leaves was not heavy or large.Regardless, it was not powerful enough on grass surfaces or areas where leaves would stick to vegetation & plants. It was not able to easily & efficiently handle large accumulations of leaves. Use of the “turbo” mode was absolutely essential in those situations. The use of the “turbo” mode, however, quickly used up the battery charge & you must have other charged batteries available & ready for swapping in order to do even small areas. I also noted that my clothes often stuck to the air intake & reduced efficiency of handling & moving the leaves.I returned the one I bought & hope another version will be developed to overcome the shortcomings cited. In the meantime I’ll return to relying on my gas & corded blowers.

It suits my purposes fine. That is light duty. A corded product or a gas motor product will provide more oomph, but I knew that before I purchased this blower. In fact, I have a corded blower with more power, but this cordless product is so much more convenient for me. Also like being able to use the battery and charger for my other Ryobi product (edger).

I bought this to replace a troy bilt 4 stroke blower that was very temperamental. I got this for my pool deck and walkways. It certainly met my expectations. I produces a very god volume of air ant a good velocity and is great for clearing light debris such as leaves. The ease of using this blower is great. No gas, no trouble starting and no issue with storage. Pop in a battery and pull the trigger. I have a pretty extensive collection of Ryobi 18 volt tools and will continue to expand the collection.

This blower feels lightweight,doesn’t weigh down after long use like most other blowers. The turbo button is a plus. Quite, even in tubo mode. I think the brushless feature makes a big difference in all the new tools. Because of this blower I will start changing most of my tools to brushless.

Have the previous model with the clear tube that I loved, but it was loud and got the neighbors dogs barking. I am impressed with how quiet this one was, however I was a little under impressed at its performance, at first. Now I use the whisper series blower all the time. The combination of its quietness and it relies on a larger volume of air instead of speed, is deceiving. If you know when to use the turbo button and when not to, it works great.
