Have the previous model with the clear tube that I loved, but it was loud and got the neighbors dogs barking. I am impressed with how quiet this one was, however I was a little under impressed at its performance, at first. Now I use the whisper series blower all the time. The combination of its quietness and it relies on a larger volume of air instead of speed, is deceiving. If you know when to use the turbo button and when not to, it works great.

I have used this blower twice now for the full charge on a 9Ah battery and both times I got between 30 and 40 minutes of runtime using the turbo button the entire time. Without the use of the turbo button it is not any better that the hard surface leaf sweeper I bought 3 or 4 years ago. I thought runtime would be a little better than it is, but I am still happy with the runtime. I wish the turbo button would lock on or that the trigger was variable speed from it’s slowest speed to turbo mode. I wish the plastic tube was longer and perhaps was angled out at the tip for better blowing performance. At 6’2″ tall I find if I get the blower closer to the ground it performs better and the closer to say 15 to 20 degree angle it blows the leaves better, but for me that means bending over to do it. I have this issue with most of the newer blowers because they seem to all have shorter tubes now. 10+ year older leaf blowers seemed to have tubes that were a little longer by 6″+.

This is perfect for small yards decks and around pools. The battery seems to last adequate amount of time. The force of the blow or is enough to move leaves, dirt and other light debris.

i bought this a couple weeks ago and i absolutley love it it is light weight feels great in hand i use it at home and at work . i love that the battery has a fuel level on it . i am loving all my ryobi tools i will not buy any other brand tool waiting for a nice rolling tool chest so i can put all my cordless tools in as i do alot of work in some condos so it would be nice to have a matching rolling tool tot to go with my tools … keep up the great work love the tools

It suits my purposes fine. That is light duty. A corded product or a gas motor product will provide more oomph, but I knew that before I purchased this blower. In fact, I have a corded blower with more power, but this cordless product is so much more convenient for me. Also like being able to use the battery and charger for my other Ryobi product (edger).

Wish it were a bit stronger than 110 MPH. Batteries do not last long enough. I have used my three batteries (4 AH, and two 6AH) and had to keep recharging them to get the job done.

I’m a 72 year old woman – and not very strong. I bought this to make it easier for me to clean the gutters. It worked great, but I needed to press the turbo button the whole time. I’ve used it twice, and both times, I found myself continuing to blow leaves off the deck and driveway, etc., until it was out of power. It’s that much fun to use!
