I really haven’t used it enough to really review this correctly. The only thing I can really say at this point is… After using it a couple of times I’ve noticed that if I use the Turbo function at all it uses up too much of the battery life! Making the convenience of this option Not really a convenience at all if you have to stop and go get new batteries. Other than that it seems to do everything I need it to.

I love my new Jet Fan Blower. It’s super quiet while delivering all the power i need to remove loose debris from the back patio and garage. When using the tool it doesn’t seem like if moving that much air due to the quietness of the tool but this baby produces quite a punch.

I own the previous 280 cfm 100 mph Ryobi Blower with the clear tube and cannot say enough good things about. The only negative was how noisy it is. I bought this one to be a good neighbor. If only Ryobi could combine the best of both. The switch and handle design was more comfortable on the previous one, yet the quietness of the new whisper series is very impressive. I tried both side by side on silver dollar sized leaves on dirt. With the turbo button pushed the whisper series blower appears to blow a slightly larger volume of air. Without the turbo button pushed it didn’t do as good as the older one. It also appears that the turbo mode will drain the battery faster than using the old style on high did. To make it quiet they made the tube bigger and rely on volume and not as much speed of the air. So for blowing off driveways or a patio, the whisper series works great and keeps the neighbors happy. But for really large jobs you’d be asking it to do a lot. When the sound isn’t a issue I’ll still use the older Ryobi blower.

This is the third Ryobi blower I have owned. It moves more air and has less power. The 210 CFM blower was more powerful and would blast leaves even stuck down by water. This blower requires you press and hold a turbo button to get more power which is still less than the smaller blowers. On a positive note the blower is extremely quiet. You can have a conversation easily while using this blower. Probably great for smaller places or very light use. Not recommended for average residential yards if you have a lot of leaves on the ground.

Too heavy for my wife. Variable power trigger useless. Fairly good power on normal trigger setting. Would be great if it had a air flow concentrator to fit on the end of the wide tube opening. Otherwise air tube too wide to blow leaves out of gaps in deck. There is a power boost button, but it is er boost button awkward to use.

I am really impressed with this little blower. I am a female with back problems and can’t use the gas powered backpack type blowers. This is perfect for me. It is powerful! My husband was impressed also. The only thing is I wished the battery would last longer. But it doesn’t take long to change. I think I will buy another battery so I can complete what I need to do at one time. Overall I am happy with this product and do recommend!!

Very quiet, effective blower. Weight is good but balance is slightly forward so it’s easier to use with two hands. Turbo mode is crucial. Make sure you have an additional battery or two if you plan on doing the whole lawn.
