I have bought this drill to replace my 5A electrical cord hammer one did not work anymore to drill and screw on the concrete brick wall . At first, I have thought that It would not be able to drill 3/8″ drill in concrete, but I have been surprised that it drilled and screwed on so easily with the hammer option.

Bought this hammer drill as I already have a ton of Ryobi tools and their compatible batteries. I am glad I did. There’s nothing to complain about this tool. I cant use this drill to drill into walls and put in fasteners into metal beams. Makes my life easier.

Hammers through concrete as expected. Remember this is a light duty hammer drill, not a jack hammer. Accepts only plain drill shafts, not heavy duty instruments for heavy duty hammers. Others complain that the drill bit loosens but I have not found that problem if the bit is tightened as much as possible. Does not have hammer only function, only drill hammer or drill. Seems to use more battery power than ordinary drill, as expected.
