This a fine pulse drive. Exceeds my expectations.

This impact driver is very quiet, and very strong. You have to be careful if your trying to slowly run a screw in, but I recently dropped it off of a ladder with the big battery in it, and it broke in half when it hit a rung on the way down. Not the drills fault, but be careful lol

Very hard to under or over control power, can strip screw heads easily

Great power and battery lasts. Not heavy or too large.

I have only used this a couple times but it works well. The quick release holds tightly on to whateve bit I am using and it has enough torque for small bolts with a nut driver. I don’t know what it is about an impact, but it drives screws into boards so much easier than a drill with a screwdriver bit in it. I got it free with purchase of batteries, but if you do a lot of wood screws, especially like building a deck, this is a great tool to have.

I purchased this and the 1/4” brushless HP Compact at the same time for two different maintenance shops. I REALLY like how quiet this one is, but it is the same physical size as my 1/2” drive. Pretty big for a 1/4”. Also, kind of a bummer it’s not brushless. If you just need quieter, this is the one. If noise isn’t a concern, I like the light weight, compactness and brushless design of the HP Compact version.

Beautiful; where was this 20 years ago??

I bought this about a month ago and love it! My wife and I do a lot of DIY projects and use it often. It has power and it is not loud like most impact drivers.

I thought that my drill made a great tool for driving fasteners, and it did, but this does the job a whole lot better. This has far more power than my drill.
Brody Braun (verified owner) –
Very quiet compared to my other impacts. Picked this up because my dog does not like my other impacts he is much better with the sound of this one

Maybe I am not using it correctly but I don’t think it is any quieter than any other impact driver. What I don’t like about it is I don’t know how much torque it is designed to provide. Standard impact drivers list the torque right on the box. I don’t see that at all in any of the instructions. I would like to know. I am not impressed.

So far so good. Nothing to complain about. For all you DIY can’t go wrong with the Ryobi brand. Affordable, best bang for the buck if you ask me.

Great driver, very quiet, powerful, and excellent battery life.

The drivers have worked very well for us and we use them!

The power level was okay driving 3.5″ deck screws and the low noise level was very nice. It’s incredible how quiet this is compared to standard impacts. Only complaint is its size. It’s pretty big. About the size of the average drill.

Bought with the 4ah battery and it’s my new all around tool. Great item.
