RYOBI introduces the 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless 1/4 in. Hex QuietSTRIKE Pulse Driver with Belt Clip with 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger Kit. QuietSTRIKE Technology is gives more power and speed than a drill but with 50% less noise than an impact driver. This new drill produces 3,200 RPM and 2,200 ipm. The tool features tri-beam LED lights to help illuminate the darkest work spaces. I purchased this and the 1/4” brushless HP Compact at the same time for two different maintenance shops. I REALLY like how quiet this one is, but it is the same physical size as my 1/2” drive. Pretty big for a 1/4”. Also, kind of a bummer it’s not brushless. If you just need quieter, this is the one. If noise isn’t a concern, I like the light weight, compactness and brushless design of the HP Compact version.

I got this as a replacement for my other battery that for some reason stopped working / receiving charge. The other one had a lime green part I think it was named differently. I was expecting this to be the replacement/newer version since the other one didn’t seem to be available. It works fine but there is no charge indicator on this battery which is a little inconvenient. I was expecting the same feature on this. Press the button on the battery and see the charge status via the lights , was very useful.
