RYOBI introduces the 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless 1/4 in. Hex QuietSTRIKE Pulse Driver with 1.5 Ah Compact Lithium-Ion Battery. QuietSTRIKE Technology is gives more power and speed than a drill but with 50% less noise than an impact driver. This new drill produces 3,200 RPM and 2,200 ipm. The tool features tri-beam LED lights to help illuminate the darkest work spaces. The included battery features lithium-ion cells, providing the user with over 50% more runtime compared to the (P102) 18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion 1.3 Ah Compact Battery. Haven’t actually had a chance to use these yet (I bought 2) They are to replace a Ni-cad battery that does not like cold weather. These new Lithium batteries charge up with no problem. But, as a precaution I have bought them to the heated indoors rather than the un-heated garage.

Impact drivers make such a huge impact with every project whether it is around the house or making woodworking projects. I have used this for hours in every climate and it does not disappoint. I also am incredibly clumsy and have dropped it on a multitude of occasions and still performs fantastically without any changes. I also cannot get over how quiet it is, especially working on projects for awhile being tired this is a game changer. I used a family members Ryobi impact driver and there is a huge difference in noise and at the end of the day its great.

Long story, but I ran over my old one with a bush hog!This is slightly smaller and a lot quieter than the one it replaced. Very easy to use, belt clip is new on this one, and came free with the battery promotion. Have a whole pile of these tools, and all are great value, and nicely made.

Maybe I am not using it correctly but I don’t think it is any quieter than any other impact driver. What I don’t like about it is I don’t know how much torque it is designed to provide. Standard impact drivers list the torque right on the box. I don’t see that at all in any of the instructions. I would like to know. I am not impressed.

Would be fine stars except Ryobi tools the light does not come on until the chick is turning. I need to see the screw before my birthday contacts it. Come on Ryobi, your competitor’s able do this.
