I purchased this to finish the quarter round in the house. First pin nailer I have purchased and most likely the last. The reason for 4/5 stars is I found it a little on the bulky side to where sometimes I couldn’t get the correct angle on the nail.

Very happy with this tool.Does a good job of sinking the pins flush no matter what wood I’ve tried..oak and maple

Bought this so I didn’t have to carry a compressor with me whenever I needed to use the nailer this one is just as good as the pneumatic nailer sinks the pins every time and it hasn’t Jammed on me once yet

Quite happy with my new battery pin nailer. One con is the 2 step trigger setup. I understand its safety reasoning. But it’s a little tricky to use although I am getting used to it. I just installed an 8′ X 11′ barn board feature in our famly room using 75 year old rough hewn white pine. Used this nailer for the trimand molding. Nice not to have to drag my compressor around! Second con is Ryobi doesn’t supply a tool bag for this nailer. C’mon Ryobi, we all like to have a bag to protect out tools, especially one like this!!

The trigger has to be released several times to get it to fire sometimes. Aggravating. Otherwise, when it works, I like it.

I recently bought the 23ga pin nailer and I am impressed. I have used it in plywood and into hardwoods and it does its job. My small glue-ups just became real easy. The pins are so small that there’s no worry about plugging up holes either. I have the 16ga as well and it is loud and I thought the pin nailer was going to be as well. I was really surprised on how quiet the pin nailer is and how well it penetrates with such ease. The pins load easy and the nailer hasn’t jammed on me yet. I am running it with a 2.0AH battery and it gives the nailer all the power it needs. I definitely recommend this pin nailer to anyone looking for a nailer that won’t leave holes in your projects or in your wallet!

Bulky but works good — so much easier than with an air hose attached.

No depth adjustment, but not needed. Headless pins are the purpose here. I used this gun on gluing up some PVC and wood trim. No Jams. Very reliable. Worked with Porter Cable fasteners without an issue. Very reliable so far. I recommend it for sure. I used the 4.0ah batteries. A slimmer battery would be more welcome. This was a good buy. I shopped around and decided on this Ryobi pinner because the other available cordless model had complaints of jams.

I never need much of a reason to buy another Ryobi tool – especially when I get a chance to show-off their performance to my “Dad-Squad” buddies. I was asked to help a friend trim out some upholstery of his motor coach. I needed pin nails for my compressor rig – and saw this new Ryobi pin nailer – and of course – I bought it! This thing is so nimble – so maneuverable and precise! I was able to complete the entire wood repair in less time than it would have taken to just set up my compressor. I’m a contractor and I’ve been using Ryobi tools since 1996. The batteries have gotten better and better over the years – and so has the entire collection of 18V ONE+ tools! Russ. Ft. Worth, TX
