This nailer features AirStrike Technology, which eliminates the need for noisy compressors, bulky hoses, or expensive gas cartridges. This means faster setup and easier maneuvering on the job site or at home. Best of all, it is part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 175 Cordless Tools that all work on the same battery platform. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, the Angled Finish Nailer includes sample nails, a belt clip, and an operator’s manual. Battery and charger sold separately.

It works very good for small jobs when you don’t want to haul the compressor around. A bit slower than using an air tool and a slight delay when pressing the trigger but works good if you take your time.

I had a Ridgid battery finish gun that died after a couple of years. They discontinued it, so I needed a new one. I am a contractor/carpenter and use this gun weekly if not more often. After checking prices and brands of various guns, I decided on the Ryobi since I had other tools that took the same battery and the price was hard to beat. I am impressed so far. It seems to have the power I need to install baseboards and small jobs that you don’t want to haul the compressor and hoses out for. For everyday use into pine, drywall, and oak 1” boards, it has adequate power. I hope it lasts longer than the Ridgid gun did.

I am using this for home use so it has not been tested for high volume or extended amount of use. The advantage is that you don’t have to have an air compressor and even though it is bulky I was able to still use it on base moldings with out issues.
