I have five other Ryobi 18V tools that I have been extraordinarily satisfied with from a function, durability and price point perspective. I have only used the oscillating tool once and it seems to work as advertised and much better than my Harbor Freight corded oscillating tools. It is light weight and relatively quiet compared to other such tools I have used. I wish Ryobi built a quick-change into their design to make blade changes more efficient.

It works ok. But it is rather inconvenient to insert and exchange the cutting tools,because you need to remove the screw all the way out. This design is not very good.I have a similar electric power tool which has a better mechanism to exchange tools thatonly use lever, no screw. This one is much cheaper, and provides a lot more variety of cutting and sanding tools. I can use these cutting tools to work with Ryobi, they have notch, so I do nothave to remove Ryobi screw all the way out.The only reason I bought Ryobi is because it works on battery, no electric connection needed.

It being battery powered and part of the One+ series is an excellent feature. Only drawback is I’ve had the screw holding the blade come loose while cutting.
