This is my second Ryobi 18V orbital sander. I completely wore the last one out. They are great sanders. I bought a second one because I love Ryobi products and I was impressed with how long it survived with me working it so hard, that I bought another one when my last one died.

I bought this because I was upgrading another palm sander. Although I have not used this yet, but I like the hook and loop attachment for the sandpaper. Much better than the clips where the paper tears because it gets loose. The other big advantage of this unit is the cordless operation. I have many Ryobi tools wih the same battery. No more dragging cords around!
