Only gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons, the buffing pads that tie came with it and suck, the on off switch is on the other side of buffer, hard to turn off. but Buffer is awesome!! Ordered new pads with elastic to hold them on to the buffer and works great. I have the 10″ cordless buffer, like this one way better for appyling and taking off wax.

First use for this perfect sized buffer was to clean/wax a swimming pool slide. While it worked just fine, I was somewhat disappointed that a single, freshly charged 3ah battery was not enough to finish the job. Had about of foot of slide left when the battery conked out. Nice product, just disappointed in power consumption.

This Ryobi 6-inch 4000 rpm buffer is the ticket! Just the thing for applying glazes (perfect speed). I got this because I live in an apartment, but I take care of my car and only just learned that cordless buffers exist. The handle configuration makes it easy to do the sides of the car as well. The only complaint I have is the on/off switch is in a bad location. They should have put it closer to the handle!
