I’ve been polishing cars for over 50 years, and the worst thing is dragging the dang cord around behind you, having it get wedged under tires, etc. Being cordless makes the job 10 times easier! The random orbit and 10″ head provide a perfect swirl free finish. If it had detachable pads that attach with Velcro like the new Ryobi PBF100B 5″ polisher scheduled for release soon, I’d give it 5 stars. And I suspect when I get the new one, I’ll likely say if the head was 10″ instead of 5″, it would also get a 5 star! Jeepers- yua can’t win at this thing. But I have loads of the Ryobi 18+ cordless tools and love them all. Best value on the market!

I was looking for a decent orbital buffer – and since I have a number of Ryobi One+ tools, the cordless option seemed like it would be worth trying. We started rubbing out a bumper surround by hand, but the surface area was just too much. The orbital sander was just the ticket for making fast work of the rubout and polishing and the results were great. I did end up purchasing several pad covers – it makes changing out easier and cleaner.

I have never owned such a tool before. It sure takes all of the work out of waxing the car. I used to never let the wax dry quite enough to give full protection. Now, I let it completely dry and use this buffer to easily remove it. One still has to get down into the low spots, but overall, a great tool.

The 10 inch orbital buffer works fine. The cloth buffers are a bear to get on and they don’t look like the photo when they are on the buffer. The padded area just covers the top.

I never used a buffer on any car to take off the wax, not sure why I waited so long! I was able to get this to most areas on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and it easily cut my time down by 3-4x what it would have taken me. I used a smaller battery and it worked just fine.

I have bought Ryobi for yrs this is the worst product I have purchased from them bought ab a month ago to use on my R-POD used 2x the top padding flew off so I am going to spend this weekend looking for a better product.Shame like I said this company is awesome, products, CS, this is just not a well made product…Would have changed my rating if someone had reached back out to me but nothing.If you want a used 2x buffer hit me up its free.It’s a 10 in Ryobi Buffer, I have both bonnets both in excellent shape, (bonnets).

I bought this to buff out a camper gel coat that had moderately oxidized. It did a terrific job and I would recommend this to anyone who needs a great buffer with plenty of power. Used a 4 amp battery which lasted a long time!
