Was most impressed with this buffer. Previously had a corded “other brand” buffer which was cumbersome & heavy. Very surprised at the lightweight & efficiency of this unit. Just used the smallest Ryobi battery & was able to get through an entire vehicle with no signs of quitting. Wish I’d purchased earlier.

It works just fine but cloths could be better quality. It works as it should. I’d buy it again

I have always taken joy in caring for my vehicles. Though my GMC Suburban is 23 years old, it has held up quite well. The area that I have to park is quite some distance from an electrical outlet, so when I saw that Ryobi had this cordless buffer, I wanted to find out more, read the reviews and then make a decision. I am very happy that I did as the buffer is nicely balanced and easy to use. The price is great also. The only thing that I did not like and I think most would agree with me, they need to put a couple of more bonnets in the set. Your going to want to buff several things with this Ryobi, it is easy to use and work. Remember to use a good liquid polish and wax. Have fun.

Bought this to wax my boat. Works great. The speed is not of an electric buffer which I happen to like. Sometimes the speed will burn the paint if left in one spot for too long.

Used it to wax my El Camino. It is lightweight and easy to use. It made waxing much easier than my old, heavy corded buffer.

The buffer works well and uses the Ryobi One battery system, no cords is awesome. Makes doing a wax coating of the car easier.

I’ve only used this once so far. My first impressions were that the on-off switch could be placed closer to the handles. It’s not a big deal in the middle but requires you to remove one hand and look for the switch. This will probably become automatic over time with more use. The second impression was that it seemed a little low on the RPMs. Overall though, the movement of the pad was smooth during operation and it seems well made.

I have used a 10″ buffer for years, to finish off a wax job on the car. But, without having a cord to fuss with, this makes the work much less of a hassle. Good speed and orbit, low vibration. I use a smaller battery (3Ah or less) to keep it from being top heavy. Very easy to control. Don’t miss the cord at all.

After my 10 year old electric buffer bit the bullet, I bought this buffer yesterday and polished both our car and our truck. So easy, so convenient, so quick and dispute some of the reviews more than enough power using the 1.5 amp power source with only one battery charge. Between the tools Ryobi produces, at the price point they produce (always look at their promotions) and best customer service available (I received quick and complete customer service one time when I did have a problem on another item) I can not justify going elsewhere.

I made my purchase a little over a month ago, and must I say it has exceeded all my expectations. Very easy to use and clean. Also buffer is light in your hand during use.

it works, light weight, but not the best polisher i have used.

I’ve used this buffer a few times now on our vehicles and the boat. While it doesn’t have quite the “oomph” my corded Ryobi buffer does, I still love it. Not having to deal with the cord is so nice! And for waxing it works great. I’m really pleased with how long it lasts using my 3 or 4 ah batteries.

Had it for a few weeks now. Definitely quicker than hand wax/polish but don’t expect miracles… Does it’s job for the price you pay and does it well enough. For me the whole point is to get the waxing and polishing done quicker. I’m not a auto detailer just a father of twins struggling to manage time… if it winds the clock back a few minutes… it’s worth it to me.
