RYOBI introduces the 18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/4 Sheet Sander w/Dust Bag and Corner Cat Finish Sander (Tools Only). The ONE+ 1/4 Sheet Sander is great if used for a variety of finishing applications and its cordless convenience makes it easy to move from jobsite to jobsite or for DIY jobs anywhere around your home. It features a 1/4 sheet design that works with a majority of sandpapers and a lock on switch for easy operation. Its dust collection bag will keep your work surfaces clean, and its vacuum adaptor port will make clean up quick and easy (adaptor not included). With 12,000 RPMs and over 40 minutes of runtime, you will always have enough power to get the job done. The Corner Cat Finish Sander tool features a unique shape that allows sanding in tight spaces while delivering 11,000 orbits per minutes (OPM) for efficient stock removal. This unit is 23% more compact compared to the previous model (P400) and includes sample sandpaper to get you started. Best of all, it is part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 175 Cordless Tools that all work on the same battery platform. I have yet to use it so I can not give a solid review, the only thing I can say rite now is that it looks alot bigger in the pictures than what it really is, the construction seems very solid and based off the size and weight it to me would be very comfortable to use and easy to control/guide. I can say though that that is the 11th Ryobi +one tool I have bought, I absolutely would recommend them and have not had one complaint with them and also the fact that one battery fits every tool alone blows the rest of the competition out of the water!! I’ve used them all and the Ryobi’s are made with the same quality and toughness as all the high dollar big brands!!

While this is definitely an entry/diy level tool, it’s been impressive so far. Plenty of power, the depth adjustment is simple and effective, and the shape is actually really comfortable in the hand. I use mid level router bits and got very little to no burning and zero chip out. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get started with router work. Especially at the sale price I got it at.

Bought this for a simple routing job, and it did the job. Read the reviews about the depth setting drifting during use. It did for me until I realized that I was trying to cut too much material in one pass. Take it slow and don’t try to hog it and this works fine. Like other reviews, I did find the switch location on the back of the router inconvenient. You have to carefully position the router before fumbling for the switch. Overall, for the price, it works well, but only if you already have a battery and charger. If you have to purchase those as well, you might be better to look further.
