RYOBI introduces the 18-Volt ONE+ Brushless 3 in. x 18 in. Belt Sander with Dust Bag and 80-Grit Sanding Belt and 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless 1/4 Sheet Sander with Dust Bag (Tools Only). The brushless motor in the Belt Sander produces speeds of up to 850 FPM, providing true corded performance with cordless convenience. With a low-profile design and a tool-free 5-position pommel handle, this sander is able to get into tight spaces while providing a more comfortable and customizable user experience. Additional features include tool-free belt tracking and a lock-on switch to maximize user control and convenience while you work. The ONE+ 1/4 Sheet Sander features a 1/4 sheet design that works with a majority of sandpapers and a lock on switch for easy operation. Its dust collection bag will keep your work surfaces clean, and its vacuum adaptor port will make clean up quick and easy (adaptor not included). With 12,000 RPMs and over 40 minutes of runtime, you will always have enough power to get the job done. Best of all, it is part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 175 Cordless Tools that all work on the same battery platform. Suction power is not great at all, you will be disappointed. I did a little spot on dry wall celling and 99% of dust flew out from side rather then going in the bag. Other than that tool performed well.

It needs the biggest battery you can buy to get any life from it. The handle can pop out of its position just be aware. I was sanding a fence, so I wasn’t horizontal but it surprised me how often it moved. The belt tends to deviate inward rubbing against the sander but I don’t care about that. It does remove wood as long as you have the power behind it! Good buy
