small, handy and just what I needed.

This was a gift for my nephew. He loves it!
Palma Powlowski (verified owner) –
Very reasonably priced cordless palm router. I have used it successfully for several tasks including edge trimming, making moldings, cutting Dado’s, etc.
Jacynthe Goldner (verified owner) –
We opened the box, installed the battery, installed a Cutter, and put the router to use immediately. It worked really great, it’s small size was very easy to use like maneuvering around scrolls and other zigzagging things. We were really able to router the edges of quite a few things before the battery died on us. Remember that was the battery came in the box and so whatever charges and there was was,Left over from manufacturing. My son had another battery all charged up so we plug that in and just kept going

The battery is hard to remove.

This sander works well for me. I already had 2 18-volt Ryobi batteries.
Donnell Roob (verified owner) –
Did the job. Easy to handle.
Kamron Borer (verified owner) –
Works well. Very light to handle. The clear plastic base accumulates sawdust electrostatically, so it can obscure your vision when trying to use.

I haven’t used it a lot yet, but I do like it. Of course, the first one I bought, I didn’t think worked correctly and took it back. This doesn’t work like a normal orbital sander, spinning constantly. The description is a bit misleading, in that it references 10k orbits. Called customer service line, and was told that my concern/question was one of the most common they get for this item.
Randy Osinski (verified owner) –
Need the larger base about 5 in by 5 in with slightly rounded corners possibly a better grip
Archibald Prohaska (verified owner) –
Nice router, exactly what I needed.
Ernestina Braun (verified owner) –
plenty of power works well

I am deeply invested in the Ryobi One line. brad and pin nailers, belt sander, hand vac, impact driver, right angle drill, air compressor, and random orbital. Bought my first random orbital in September 2020. Great product. It works like a detail sander but for slightly bigger jobs. Ran great! I use my corded Dewalt orbital for larger jobs. December 18, after about 10 minutes of running, it started sounding weird, smoking with electrical smell, and then just died. Returned it and got the same product. Today, Jan 31, 2021, after less than 5 min of runtime the same happened; sound, stinky smoke, died. I was hoping my first was a fluke. It was not. I have not used this second random orbital as much as my first because ive only had it a little over a month, over the holidays, etc. nit as much work being done. When it ran it was perfect for furniture because it did what i needed it to and did not take too much off. It was perfect if only the motor would not die!

I have yet to use it so I can not give a solid review, the only thing I can say rite now is that it looks alot bigger in the pictures than what it really is, the construction seems very solid and based off the size and weight it to me would be very comfortable to use and easy to control/guide. I can say though that that is the 11th Ryobi +one tool I have bought, I absolutely would recommend them and have not had one complaint with them and also the fact that one battery fits every tool alone blows the rest of the competition out of the water!! I’ve used them all and the Ryobi’s are made with the same quality and toughness as all the high dollar big brands!!

Haven’t used it a lot yet but so far it’s a very strong router that works very well, lost a start because of its awkward shape, holding it takes some getting used to vs some of the more ergonomic plug in models. But for a cordless at the price point it’s great
