Haven’t actually had a chance to use these yet (I bought 2) They are to replace a Ni-cad battery that does not like cold weather. These new Lithium batteries charge up with no problem. But, as a precaution I have bought them to the heated indoors rather than the un-heated garage.

Really like it BUT it is only usable with standard 1/8 inch shaft accessories, it’s collet is a completely different thread diameter than any dremel or dremel like collet adapter, so NO universal collets or standard three jaw chucks will mate to this tool, I have tried them ALL and NONE will fit this odd diameter collet in this tool. Which is too bad, if they had made it so it would match the thread pitch of a standard dremel collet, it would accept all dremel collets including universal. Why is that unfortunate? Because I like to DRILL or Grind or Cut with small diameter drills and small diameter shaft burr and cut tools. THIS unit will ONLY tighten down on a 1/8 diameter shaft, nothing bigger, nothing smaller, PERIOD. How SAD! So unfortunately, it is about 75% ineffective for me, and only usable for dedicated 1/8 shaft grind sand polish and buff tasks. Cannot use it for ANY of the other applications. If they at least offered more collet inserts, with different diameter ranges, I could at least use it for smaller diameter burr and drill.

I am a dentist, so using a clunky Dremel has always been a pain for me since I am use to working with much more streamline instruments in the my operatories and in the dental lab. This cordless rotary tool is excellent… not quite on par with my expensive lab engine I have at work, but it is portable and much more ergonomic than my old Dremel.
