RYOBI introduces the 18-Volt ONE+ Lithium-Ion Cordless 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw and Orbital Jig Saw (Tools Only). The 18-Volt ONE+ 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw has a 40% more powerful motor compared to its previous model (P506). The 24 Tooth Ultra-Thin kerf carbide-tipped blade allows for fast, clean cuts. The 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless Orbital Jig Saw provides cutting performance equivalent to a corded jig saw with the portable convenience of battery power. The SPEEDMATCH selector improves cut quality by allowing you to match the speed and orbital settings for a wide array of materials. For enhanced precision, a separate variable-speed dial lets you select between 1100 and 3000 strokes per minute and RYOBI’s innovative BladeSaver feature allows access to unused teeth with the adjustable base, extending the blade life. Best of all, it is part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 175 Cordless Tools that all work on the same battery platform. This worked very well i used it for bout 15 minutes before i released that theres a switch on top for low or fast and ot was on slow i was ganna take it back till i switched it to fast and it works great wouldnt trade it for nothing

I don’t know if its the height of the sander, it tends to have this weird wobble if you are gripping it at the top, not until you move your hand to a lower position, it stops the wobbling, I have the Ryobi corded as well and it does not wobble when your hand is in any position what so ever.

I haven’t used it a lot yet, but I do like it. Of course, the first one I bought, I didn’t think worked correctly and took it back. This doesn’t work like a normal orbital sander, spinning constantly. The description is a bit misleading, in that it references 10k orbits. Called customer service line, and was told that my concern/question was one of the most common they get for this item.

I bought this because I was upgrading another palm sander. Although I have not used this yet, but I like the hook and loop attachment for the sandpaper. Much better than the clips where the paper tears because it gets loose. The other big advantage of this unit is the cordless operation. I have many Ryobi tools wih the same battery. No more dragging cords around!

I am deeply invested in the Ryobi One line. brad and pin nailers, belt sander, hand vac, impact driver, right angle drill, air compressor, and random orbital. Bought my first random orbital in September 2020. Great product. It works like a detail sander but for slightly bigger jobs. Ran great! I use my corded Dewalt orbital for larger jobs. December 18, after about 10 minutes of running, it started sounding weird, smoking with electrical smell, and then just died. Returned it and got the same product. Today, Jan 31, 2021, after less than 5 min of runtime the same happened; sound, stinky smoke, died. I was hoping my first was a fluke. It was not. I have not used this second random orbital as much as my first because ive only had it a little over a month, over the holidays, etc. nit as much work being done. When it ran it was perfect for furniture because it did what i needed it to and did not take too much off. It was perfect if only the motor would not die!

…this is NOT the saw to get.I was disappointed to learn this jigsaw does not com with the edge guide like it’s corded counterpart has at the same $70 price. Even if it did, the attachment point is too far behind the blade to be able to cut circles.Two improvements need to be made to this jigsaw:1. Include the edge guide. ( like it’s corded counterpart has at the same $70 price ) 2. Move the attachment point for the edge guide in front of the blade. ( like it’s corded counterpart has at the same $70 price )
