Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, the 18-Volt ONE+ Circular Saw includes a 7-1/4 in. 24-tooth carbide-tipped blade, a blade wrench, and an operator’s manual. Tricky, fussy and maybe a little short on torque. Tricky as it is lefthanded and the blade runs clockwise. That means to loosen the blade you turn the bolt clockwise (as the directions say). And you have to mount the blade in the direction of travel so all the writing on the blade face mounts inward. Fussy in that you have to remove the battery and depress an axle clamping button to start to remove the blade. And my first cut was a 30″ diagonal cut through 2x pressure treated — it struggled until I switched to a fresh blade and battery. I’m keeping the saw but to me it’s a light duty piece.

I received this saw fro Christmas. I have used it multiple times and can only ask “Why did I not get one before now?” It is the most quiet circular saw I have ever used. I have used other red and yellow brands and this one is way easier on my ears. The onboard storage of needed tools for blade changing is awesome. I will definitely buy one for every family member who is needing a circular saw.

This tool is so quiet. It can cut 2×4 like a hot knife through butter. There’s simply no way to put it, as you are using it.. well it honestly feels under powered. Until you make contact with the wood. Then that’s when you realize that this tool is way stronger than what it feels like in your hands. Very lasser like I guess you could say.

Finally needed to replace my 45 year old Craftsman 7 1/4 in. plug-in saw. I had received a 7 piece Ryobi ONE+ kit for Christmas in 2019 that came with a 5 in circular saw. It was okay, but needed to pull out my old saw for thicker cuts. Saw this saw on a trip to HD and it was on sale – too good to pass up. Put it to work immediately framing up stairs for an outdoor porch, all pressure treated wood. No problems. I do like the mounting of the motor on the right; now I can see where I am cutting! Very happy with this purchase, recommended to any homeowner that doesn’t need contractor grade tools but still wants a quality product.
