RYOBI introduces the 18V ONE+ Lithium-Ion Cordless Orbital Jig Saw and Cordless Multi-Tool (Tools Only). The Cordless Orbital Jig Saw saw provides cutting performance equivalent to a corded jig saw with the portable convenience of battery power. The SPEEDMATCH selector improves cut quality by allowing you to match the speed and orbital settings for a wide array of materials. A separate variable-speed dial lets you select between 1100 and 3000 strokes per minute and RYOBI’s innovative BladeSaver feature allows access to unused teeth with the adjustable base, extending the blade life. The 18V ONE+ Multi-tool features an adjustable speed dial that gives the ability to make cuts into drywall, metal, wood, plastic, composite and many other materials, along with the ability to sand the finest details. A built-in LED light illuminates your dark work area for improved visibility. The lock-on button feature is an absolute must have when operating this tool for an extended period of time. Best of all, it’s a part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 175 tools that all work on the same battery platform. It works ok. But it is rather inconvenient to insert and exchange the cutting tools,because you need to remove the screw all the way out. This design is not very good.I have a similar electric power tool which has a better mechanism to exchange tools thatonly use lever, no screw. This one is much cheaper, and provides a lot more variety of cutting and sanding tools. I can use these cutting tools to work with Ryobi, they have notch, so I do nothave to remove Ryobi screw all the way out.The only reason I bought Ryobi is because it works on battery, no electric connection needed.

Purchased about a month ago for a room remodel. Works great for tight areas, cutting nails without ripping out whole piece of molding. Other small cuts for notching areas out, etc. I got it curbside, with no issues. When I got it home, I discovered the blades provided did not include a metal cutting blade. If you need one, be sure to save yourself a trip and purchase one when you get the tool.Note that I have purchased to Universal Fit blades. Though neither mentioned Ryobi as a tool that it fit, both did without issue

the sander works great but like some others my sand paper keeps falling out of holder. problem is the the clamp is to loose. just take and bend steel hold down clamp rod it makes it hold paper with a little more force i have never lost another sheet
