This is a new product that so far has done ok. But I will say that you need to make sure you have a fully charged battery. Otherwise you may not get it to cut very well. It is a little on the heavy side, but that probably partially due to the battery as well.

This Bolt cutter works very well, So far I have only used it to cut chain link fence and it has done a good job. The only thing I had to do was adjust the jaws to close closer than the value they shipped with. I could not find what size battery I needed (4A currently) but it could use a bigger one if doing a lot of work. This is a replacement, my first one stopped working even thought the battery was fully charged. I took it back to Homedepot and they ordered me a replacement and it must have been shipped overnight because it beat the expected ship date by many days.
