I Love it. I am a truck driver and I use the bolt cutters to cut the seals on the trailers I haul. Its a seal that has a steel core about the thickness of a lag bolt. The cutter goes right thru it no problem. Highly satisfied with the product. 2 thumbs up.

I’m replacing 2×6 lumber on a bridge that has 1/2 inch bolts that have to be removed, so far I’ve cut 120 bolts with this Ryobi bolt cutter. This is the best thing ever for this job. Easy to use cuts great. Has saved me so much time.

Best new tool in my box. Its not often that you need to cut a chain or bolt but being able to do so with a battery operated tool is great. This thing is super easy to use and very powerful. I’ve cut bolts and chain with it already and haven’t had any problems with it. It is easy to see what and where you are cutting and easy to grip.

Blade broke on first use. I have posted many positive reviews and had been waiting for this product, really wanting to like it. The build quality is excellent. It’s high quality and substantial. The operation is smooth and the jaws are precise and powerful. However, on the first cut of stock well within the size and stated capabilities of the tool, the blade was destroyed. See photo below. Once the surprise wore off, I took a large pair of manual bolt cutters to the same stock and it made the cut.I own MANY Ryobi products, including 10 4Ah batteries, two multi-chargers and most every power tool and yard implement in their product line. Basically, my garage is green, so I’m a big Ryobi fan. This product however, does not measure up.Until the blade destruction problem can be resolved or explained, I cannot recommend this product.I posted this review to the Ryobi site last week. They accepted it, but did not post it, nor did they attempt to contact me, hence my post here. If HD does not post it, I will add it to my YouTube channel.
