This hand vacuum features the EVERCHARGE system, and the vacuum’s internal charging system keeps the battery charged once unit is placed on the wall mount adaptor. The 18-Volt ONE+ EVERCHARGE Hand Vacuum is 27% quieter than the previous model (P713). I decided to splurge and buy this $80 vacuum a couple years ago and was excited to have a strong, hopefully durable product. And have a reliable battery since I had other Ryobi products. Unfortunately, even though I’ve never dropped it in anyway, the on/off switch has not always working and eventually stopped working. I am debating on whether I should buy another since I have the batteries to use. There isn’t much you can do with a switch as things are internal. Very disappointed.
