I have several ryobi products, and this hand vacuum is great, has good suction.

Got this a month ago to replace another hand-vac when battery died. This has a lot of suction, and uses batteries I already have. The absence of a crevice tool doesn’t bother me. It sucks up the dirt, and that’s why it’s here. Debating whether or not to use the wall charger, but that’s neither here nor there. Love the suction.

It doesnt have the crevice tool and brush that its predecessor had. That is a BIG minus. It was also a waste of money to have to buy it with another battery when i already have eight of them.

I recently bought this hand vac and like it a lot. I replaced my Black & Decker 20v with this unit. because the internal battery is dying and is difficult to replace. That was the second unit to do that. I like the external battery, its light weight and that it comes from a long line of power tools from Ryobi, a great DIY tool. It has a 3 year warranty, longer than most hand vacs. I think this unit will turn out to be a keeper.

Need a longer crevice tool to reach between seats but works fine where I can reach Fluke

Love this hand vacuum and charger! This is our 2nd one, we have the charger hanging in our laundry room. The vacuum has a strong suction and works great! And it keeps a Ryobi One battery always charged which is great for other reasons. Only complaint is.. The reason we bought a 2nd one is that the plastic compartment in our first one has a tiny crack and because of that the plastic tab that allows it to work doesn’t seat well anymore. Getting a new plastic compartment was about half the cost of a new one and we weren’t sure that was the fix.

IT’s strong and light weight

After a slow start due to the first one being re-sold to me after someone used it then returned it without cleaning the canister, screens and filter (UGH!) the hassle of getting a new one was worth it. After 20 or more years using Dustbusters I am more than thrilled. It is easier to hang in the wall bracket, has way more suction and there is NO reduction in motor speed at all! I have yet to get anywhere near low battery where the Dustbusters all stopped completely after 1 or two minutes and slowed after 20 to 30 seconds. Thank you HD and RYOBI. I wish I had not waited so long.

Doesn’t seem to be quite as powerful as the one I bought when they first came out with it a couple years ago, but it’s something I use at least 3 times a week for a minimum of 25 seconds everytime I pick it up, so it should pay for itself within 3-4 months like the first one did

it works just fine when used for the reason I bought it

Purchase for a Christmas gift and recipient loves it as much as I love mine. Powerful cleanup and handy “at your fingertips” when needed.

This Ryobi One cordless vacuum has exceeded my expectations. Its got power suction. Light weight for being battery powered. Casing is made of good material. 2 Reasons for a 4 star and not a 5 and those are the power button and filter. Power switch seems to be the cheapest part of the whole thing so time will tell how long that last, and dumping the debris out is easy but tou have to remove the filter everytime. I wish the filter stayed with the motor so you can just disconnect, dump and hook back up. That last one is just iser prefference. I do recommend. My wife loves it as well.

Bought to replace an old hoover I had as I already have other Ryobi tools. Hooked up and charged has worked really well so far, will order extra filters for it in the near future.Very strong suction. Also like factt if I forget to put it back on the charger I can use my other Ryobi batteries with it as well.

Overall I’m very pleased with this ryobi vac. In the past, I either used black and decker or bissell cordless hand vacs and over time, the battery eventually deteriorates and succumb to a short life needless to say. With this Ryobi vac, it’s affordable, good suction power, good grip and size, and I’m most pleased that I can put my many ryobi 18v batteries to use. Even though this vac comes with a small 1.3 battery, I use either my 3 or 4amp batteries for extended life and I prefer those because it has a battery life meter for convenience. The only down side of this vac, it does not come with any crevice tool or extension. Otherwise this would of been a excellent vac for vacuuming tight areas in cars. I am still impressed with the performance and would definitely recommend this vac over a name brand vac like bissell or black and decker. The option to swap out batteries is the biggest plus side of owning the ryobi vac.
