This battery-operated handheld has decent vacuuming performance. The power button triggers with a very light touch which takes some getting used to but also makes toggling on/off effortless. The vacuum hangs cleanly on its wall-mountable charging cradle which keeps the battery topped up. The main downside is noise – I cringe every time I turn it on without wearing earbuds. And it really could use a brush attachment to make the most of all that suction.

4 Indoor Cats. Kitty litter tracked around box every day, making me nuts. I used to have to pull out “Big Red” the upright vacuum, find nearby outlet without tripping over the cord and hope the cats didn’t pee with fright when I turned it on. With this Ryobi it has never been easier to keep that area clean!!! I love it so much I bought a second one for my art studio. Just snatch it off the wall, suck up the litter, empty and bam, all done in a fraction of the time it took to vacuum that area! Much safer & easier to use in the art studio too, from the workbench surface to the base of the easel – easy peasy!

I purchased the EVERCHARGE Hand Vacuum for my wife because of the replaceable battery in the unit is the same as the one in all of my other Ryobi tools. This meant if her battery went down she could borrow one from one of my tools and quickly get back to her task. It is a well made unit and she is very happy with it. The only issue we had was the original battery would not charge and Ryobi sent us a bigger battery to replace the defective one as the a smaller ones were not in stock. Very nice unit will purchase a matching light when available.
