I love the fact that all the tools use the same battery. When I ordered, the information did not indicate that batteries and charger were included, so I was excited to see that they were in the box with the six tools. Great price for some great tools!!

The radio performs beautifully, however, the bluetooth technology is misleading as it will not connect to bluetooth headsets. I was hoping to be able to turn it on and wear a headset while walking around the house or my workshop. Also, while they never mention being able to use household power with the radio, keep in mind that it is battery powered only.

I am giving this product a 3rd star and recommendation with reluctance. If all you want is a radio, then this is a good solid product. If you expect, as any person logically would, that this appliance will play MP3’s loaded onto a thumbdrive and plugged into the USB port, then you will be sorely disappointed as I was. Ryobi needs to go back to the design drawing board with this product.The staff at Home Depot were exceptionally helpful in trying to diagnose the problem when I returned my Ryobi radio to the store to replace what I believed was a defective product. However, when comparing it to another radio off the shelf, it was clear that none of these radios possess the capability to play songs off a thumbdrive. Three different HD employees all poured over the instructional manual before finally arriving at the conclusion that this radio simply is not equipped to play MP3’s from a thumbdrive. I vacillated between returning the item for a refund and keeping it for its radio capabilities. I settled on the latter, but this design shortcoming does not make me happy. It is too bad since I’ve been very pleased with all the other Ryobi appliances I own (string trimmers, cordless drill, etc).
