Works great but, you better push the button! I’m a Ryobi fan, & have many Ryobi products, this is a good one, but, I believe it could be better. Not certain why, but, the user must push a button (though convenient & on the top) when simply plugging the device, whether it phone, tablet or whatever has a USB adapter needs to be charged or used. Obviously there must be a reason to turn it on but, a tiny, minuet draw indicator light would be nice to let one know the device is on. If one reads the manual (not sure who reads these) it becomes clear that there is an 8 hour timer built in that is activated when the button is engaged. Also noted in the manual, not all USB ports are equal, the top one is 2.1 the bottom 1 amp. This is clear by first reading almost all of the manual (again not sure who reads these) & then looking very closely at each port. The later process is made easier with the aid of magnifying glass. Bottom line, it’s inexpensive & I charged two I-pads from less than 20% with a 4 AH Ryobi battery, no problem. However the only way I knew they were charging was because the I-Pad charging icon said so, after I pushed the button. If you plug something in to be charged, make sure it is the correct port & don’t forget to push the button or it ain’t gonna happen.

I was not sure it would work, I got it just like they said I would without delay. Put the unit on the battery then I plugged in my phone cable and then plugged in my phone and then my phone charged.

Works as advertised. A very convenient way to charge cell phones and other USB devices. Only drawback would be the limited charges. I charged my iPhone Max about one and one half times on a 3Ah 18v battery. I still would recommend this item. Actually purchased an additional unit for my sister-in-law to use on her new deck.
