My husband loves Ryobi tools in general and when he got his light opened it right away put a battery in and was shocked at how bright it was. He absolutely loves his Ryobi work light and uses it all the time! He actually uses it a lot especially when he goes out ice fishing at night which is a lot so he can stay out for awhile because the battery lasts for a wicked long time a couple days actually.

So much to love about this light. It has Become my go to light that I use way more than I thought I would. The portability is fantastic. Love taking it anywhere I need it to go in the house. My only feedback is that I wish there was a medium setting. High is great low is not bright enough. It would be nice to have a middle that would extend the battery. A 4 amp hour battery seems like it will last about three hours which is not bad but a middle level with a 6 hour run time would make this the perfect tool

The work light output is quite bright. Not sure how long it will stay on with the recommended battery that is more expensive than the unit itself. I used an existing battery that I have for another tool, so far it is working fine.
