Compact and powerful, both units are great. The chuck locking on the drill is well built and solid. On other drills, I had bits fall out, not this one. Batteries are interchangeable with other ryobi 18v, which is also great. Price is reasonable and not that much more when compared to brushed versions, so don’t waste your time with the lower end tools.

The impact driver does not seem to have as much power as my Craftsman 19.2 volt. It is less bulky but does not perform as well. The drill is fibe.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Ryobi for years. These are super light. So light that they feel like a kid’s toy. After a few hours of use, my hands and arms aren’t as fatigued. Performance-wise it’s still a Ryobi tool so you do get what you pay for. The kit comes with both drill and impact drill plus two new versions of the 1mAh batteries…for the price; very good for a budget, you get more than for your buck.

If you are into the one+ 18v tools then this is a lighter version of the previous drill and driver. They work as they should. I am not sure the power is quite as high as the regular drill as it struggled a bit to drive in some concrete screws, otherwise it would be 5 stars…
