That’s enough power to cut through tough materials like metal, plastic, tile, cement board, drywall, wire shelving, PVC and vinyl siding. Measuring just 8.5 in. long, the cut-off tool is compact and lightweight—ideal for one-handed operation and cutting in tight spaces. The dual LED lights illuminate both forward and reverse cutting directions, making it easier to see in dark spaces. In addition, the wire base ensures the tool is flat to the work surface for increased cutting accuracy and stability. All in all, this cutting tool makes a great addition to any tool user’s arsenal. It is also part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 175 cordless tools that all work on the same battery platform. I’ve only used a couple of times so far and I’m really impressed. Had to cut 1/4″ stainless cable for a fence fix project, with the cut off tool it was 15 seconds or less to go through. Prior to having the cut off tool I used a hack saw for the same cut and it took 5 minutes or more. Simple operation, cuts both directions, two led lights, plenty of power, compact… well thought out tool!

Working fine as handling such tight area and corner but the blades wearing out pretty quick against either metal, wood, and fiber cement as cannot find any blades replacement and must find some other alternative for substitution otherwise pretty good tool. Thanks

I bought this to cut some metal rods for a closet and a couple of metal bars. It worked great and cut thru easily. Lots of sparks so outside is best with goggles. I did try some plastic and my only complaint is plastic melts while it cuts. There is a lot of friction.Final note is replacement blades are not out yet but you get the dremel ones.
