RYOBI introduces the ONE+ HP 18V Compact Brushless One-Handed Reciprocating Saw (Tool Only). This Recip Saw is our most compact reciprocating saw to date-just 13 in. in length to be exact. Being 31% more compact and 24% lighter weight than the brushed version, this saw is ideal for cutting in tight spaces and completing overhead applications without strain. The brushless motor delivers speeds of up to 3,000 SPM. That’s one powerful tool wrapped up in a lightweight design. The pivoting shoe provides greater depth control to maximize blade efficiency and to minimize downtime. There is also a quick blade release lever to swap out blades easily. Best of all, it is part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 175 cordless tools that all work on the same battery platform. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, the ONE+ HP 18V Compact Brushless One-Handed Recip Saw includes a 6 in. wood cutting blade and an operator’s manual. Batteries and chargers are sold separately.

This one handed saw can handle cutting EMT, 2 X 4 studs, PVC and other things effectively for a lower cost when you consider buying it as a standalone item. If you have to purchase a reciprocating saw to cut pipe, raceways, or wood studs, and you don’t already have tools of a different platform (RIgid, DeWalt, Milwaukee, etc.) that you already have batteries and chargers for, then pick up this saw and you won’t be disappointed. I couldn’t get a saw to match my RIgid stuff, which I love, so I paired this saw with the HP 18V Brushless driver and Impact set as I needed a lighter impact for fasteners, overhead work, and trimouts, and I couldn’t be happier. Is this gonna give you Milwaukee quality; not quite, but if Milwaukee is a 10 then this product is a close 8.5 to 9! For commercial and residential work, Ryobi is more than capable of handling the daily workload. Given the price, how long the batteries last, how much EMT I am able to cut in an 8 hour shift on one charge, this saw is an excellent value. I will consider more of their tools in the future!

This Reciprocating saw is the perfect size for one handed use so you can hold what you’re cutting with the other hand. Its also not to heavy and it is shaped well. This saw has plenty of cutting power and exceeded my expectations.. I would definitely recommend this over the full size saw.

Got this for my son for Christmas. Gave it to him early so I could use it. We have been clearing some mesquite and other brush. This works great for that purpose and is light enough for me to use. He already had the bigger 2 handed one, but too much for me!! So I love it. Cuts right thru that mesquite and other shrubs!! Would recommend!!

All my tools are Ryobi. I have the older version also. This one is so much smaller in size but still has the power. Love the easier size for working in tight areas. It is nice as it comes with a battery, as most do not now. That is bad marketing, my opinion. Also easier to notice this color than other brands h I have used. The battery is not a 8 hour power but a couple hours depending on speed used.
