I used this for finishing my custom cabinets. Lots of sanding later, still works great.

Bought this a few months ago and have no complaints. It’s so single and ergonomic that my wife has used it just as much as I have! Will be looking to buy the cordless version next!

The dust catcher works fairly well but still it is better to use outdoors.

It’s a good sander for 50$. It does the job, it sands. The issue is it’s terrible for ergonomics, no adjustable speed, and horrible vibrations. Its fine for the occasional DIYer, but can’t hold up to the use of a woodworker. Nonetheless, it served me well for 2 years. I have since upgraded to festool. Either way i recommend this sander for someone looking for a cheap one, although I’d buy the 70$ bosch one over this any day.

Needed to replace a part after heavy use. Good for basic projects.

This Ryobi orbital sander has proven to be an awesome piece of equipment for my woodshop. This made my job and sanding wood products from my home so much easier and also the fact that it sucks up Saw dust makes cleanup easier.

This is a very aggressive sander with not much finesse. Even with 120 grit paper it still left swirl marks which ended with going through the cherry veneer of the cabinet I was working on. It does not have soft start nor variable speed, both would be a very nice feature but unfortunately would end with an increase of price. It would be a nice sander for a rough carpenter but not for a finish shop!

I bought this about a month ago and it’s one of the better investments I’ve made. Seriously. I had a black and decker sander and when started using this I noticed a huge difference!! I sanded things SO MUCH faster. I love my orbit sander.

I was redoing the wood on my deck, and thought I’d need to rent a belt sander. This orbital sander did the job just fine. I am delighted.
