Random Orbit Sander runs on a powerful 2.6 Amp motor and 12,500 OPM (orbits per minute) to deliver a smooth performance in a variety of sanding applications. Crafted with an ergonomic design for comfort as you work, the sander accepts hook and loop sandpaper for fast and easy grit changes and comes with an array of sandpaper for convenience. To help prevent accidental workplace gouging during start-up, the sander also features a spin-control pad braking system for added safety. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, the 5 in. Random Orbit Sander includes a sandpaper assortment, a dust bag, and an operator’s manual.

I bought this a month ago to use in addition to the battery powered Ryobi I also use. It replaced another brand and my only complaint is with myself for waiting so long to get it! I cut and sand craft projects almost daily and didn’t realize how much easier my projects could have been done if I had purchased one earlier. It has amazing power, it sands my wood projects without leaving marks and the longer cords allows me to reach further when sanding larger pieces.
