Great saw for a weekend project. Easy to set up, and minimal amount of adjustment to get saw square. Miter gauge could be better, but all in all a good value.

My son whom I purchased it for fell in love with it. Was so happy it had the stand

It’s a good saw for the money, light and portable. If the saw lasts for years it will be a great value.

Overall I like this table saw. It’s cheap and gets the job done. For a table saw it’s rather quiet. Stand is easy to assemble. Does take some setup to get it cutting accurately. The only huge con I have with it is the fence. The metal came very warped. And without an accurate fence it makes wood working rather hard. I’m not sure if that’s a manufacturer issue or if it some how got damaged in the box. I would recommend this saw to someone who has less care for accuracy.

The saw is really pretty easy to set up. The one that I got had holes for the bolts to go through, but like another review says they didn’t line up exactly and I had to re drill one of the holes. The first cut I did on this saw was pretty hard. From the factory this saw doesn’t have a parallel fence and the blade was also out of alignment to the table. Definetly make sure that you check all alignment before using the saw if you will be using for fine woodworking. The saw still doesn’t cut perfectly straight and I think that is due to the plastic part at the front of the fence. It sticks out some. Other that that the saw is decent, but you get what you pay for. I will defiently be upgrading soon, so that I can do bigger projects.

This really is a perfect example of “you get what you pay for”. I owned this saw for 4 weeks and only used it to make a cutting board and a small jewelry box. When I first started using it, none of my cuts were actually straight. I realized it was because the black plastic piece at the top of the rip fence stuck out slightly and was not flush with the face of the fence. I had to cut a piece of wood and screw it to the face and over the plastic piece in order to have a flat surface. As other have said the miter gauge has a loose fit in the miter slot, so none of your cuts will be perfect while using it. The miter slots are different than most table saws, and you will need to file them down if you plan on making any sort of sled or jig to fit in them. Last night when using this it started making an awful noise. After taking the motor off, I saw that the gear that connects to the blade assembly was completely worn and unusable. Luckily I still had my receipt and I returned it to Home Depot. I will not be buying another ryobi table saw.

The saw only has one track on the table. I wish it had one on each side of blade. Also, the fence isn’t that durable. The saw runs great, blade guard rattles too much and is too loose.
